DESCRIPTION:Learn new some fun techniques to design\, develop & delight in your new altered book! Learn layering techniques that become a chunky book!\n\n\n\nJoin us to learn new some fun techniques to design\, develop & delight in your new altered book! We will learn layering techniques that will have us end up with a nice chunky altered book! When it is Mixed Media anything goes! We will provide ALL materials & if you want to bring some special treasures (pictures\, ephemera\, magazine faces & people ) to add to yours\, then please bring it! Also\, if you have any affirmations &/or gratitude messages that you want to have as a special feature in your book\, then please bring those too! If you have a scrapbook toolkit\, please bring it. With all Mixed Media projects\, we will be using a variety of mediums\, so please dress appropriately!\n\n\n\nIf you love building & layering\, then this is the workshop for you! Some things we will be learning in this workshop: How to make tea dyed journals Some fun ways to fold envelops into pages & pockets Developing pouches & pockets from paper towel holders Embossing How to create structural integrity in your books.\n\n\n\nHow to paint & outlines to create some depth in your images. Book size will vary: it will depend on the book that you choose!
