About Us
East Kootenay Volleyball Club (EKVC) is a youth volleyball organization serving athletes ages 12–18 across the East Kootenay region. Since 1997, EKVC has been committed to building a strong, inclusive volleyball community rooted in development, respect, and connection. We offer competitive and development programs, indoor and beach seasons, and opportunities for athletes, coaches, and officials to grow. Through local partnerships and regional collaboration, EKVC connects youth to sport, supports post-secondary goals, and helps build life skills like teamwork, resilience, and leadership. We proudly recognize the traditional lands of the Ktunaxa and Kinbasket People and strive to reflect gratitude and inclusivity in everything we do. From first serve to final point, EKVC is about more than volleyball — it’s about empowering youth and strengthening community through sport.
